Rille was created during a week-long intensive type workshop with Jean François Porchez, founder of Typofonderie. In groups of four, we began gathering inspiration and decided on a single type style. During the next phase we sketched and iterated on all of the letterforms and glyphs for the font. After several refinements to each letterform, we transferred them onto the computer using Type Tool, and by the end of the week Rille was a fully working font.
